Illustrator Ben O’Brien creates drool-worthy workspaces

What would you say is your dream workspace? Do you see yourself in a busy, noisy open-concept space in a trendy building filled with hipsters? Or would you rather work outdoors with your hands?
Intrigued by the different preferences people may have, illustrator Ben O’Brien recently asked his Twitter followers for their dream workspace. This is what they said:
As you can see, the vast majority wanted to work in nature. Their ideal working equipment was books and the written word, and this rustic, analog feel continued in their choice of building (a cabin). Curiously, though, his Twitter followers also opted for a modernist design style, with artwork on the wall.
Like any good illustrator, O’Brien then set out to illustrate these dream workspaces. Here’s what he came up with.
In these illustrations, O’Brien creates separate creative areas, with pets, mid-century industrial furnishings, books and refreshments.
