Saskatchewan’s top employers for 2016
Canada’s Top 100 has revealed its list of the top 100 employers in Saskatchewan. Are you lucky enough to be working with one of these companies?
According to the website, Saskatchewan’s Top Employers is an annual competition, founded in 2006. It’s managed by Mediacorp Canada Inc. who also manages Canada’s Top 100 Employers (the same competition run nationally).
“This special designation recognizes the Saskatchewan employers that lead their industries in offering exceptional places to work,” the website states.
Perks boasted by the companies on the full list range from family leave, to education and wellness incentives, to profit sharing and matching funds raised for charity.
For the selection process employers are evaluated using eight criteria: (1) Physical Workplace; (2) Work Atmosphere & Social; (3) Health, Financial & Family Benefits; (4) Vacation & Time Off; (5) Employee Communications; (6) Performance Management; (7) Training & Skills Development; and (8) Community Involvement.
Here are some of the winners and a bit about of what makes them such fantastic places to work (see the full list and full descriptions here):
